YDBC Ltd has been contracted as the Building Control Inspector for a unique development overlooking the distinctive and iconic Roseberry Topping in North Yorkshire.
Situated in Nunthorpe, Upsall Grange Gardens will soon see the completion of eight bespoke executive homes on the site of a former care home. Each will have 4 to 5 bedrooms and an average build size of 5,000 square feet with spectacular views of the Cleveland Hills.
All of the civil engineering and infrastructure work was undertaken by Property developer John King from JK Construction and Joinery Ltd, who sketched the plans himself before the plans went to the architect.
Two properties have now been completed with the main house having 240 panes of energy-efficient K Glass which reflects heat back inside. There are five en-suite bedrooms, a cinema room, mobile phone-controlled sound system and a bar, as well as an outdoor hot tub.
Building Control was carried out by Andy Clarkson, MRICS Building Surveyor at YDBC.
